Multnomah Falls
Wednesday, December 17, 2008
I am fortunate enough to live only 35 miles from this spectacular sight. Multnomah Falls is the second-tallest year-round waterfall in the US. The water of the Falls drops 620 feet from its origin on Larch Mountain. Unusually cold weather can freeze the plummeting water into a majestic ice-sickle. I plan to capture this frozen giant within the next month or so if weather cooperates. Stay tuned!
