Sunday I paid a visit to my favorite old building in downtown Vancouver, WA. It is a gorgeous old decayed building on the site of the Academy Tower grounds. The same building this photo and this photo were taken. I wanted to see how HDR would fair on my favorite local subject. On an overcast, but dry, day this was my best result utilizing three bracketed exposures each at 2 stops. I really need to take several more trips back to shoot this location before it’s gone. I have a suspicion that they’re going to demolition it here sometime soon.
