I captured these elk in Colorado on Trail Ridge Road this past summer. Trail Ridge Road is the highest continuous motorway in the United States, with more than eight miles lying above 11,000' and a maximum elevation of 12,183'. I’m not much of a wildlife photographer but thought this was a good enough catch to share.
