This shot was taken at Battle Ground Lake State Park on the same foggy morning as this capture just after the fog had lifted. It was a gorgeous site that morning while the fog burned off. The lake itself is actually a crater formed from a huge volcanic explosion. The resulting crater filled with water and created what is now Battle Ground Lake.
