Photo Friday’s Challenge this week is “The Weekend”. And around the Pacific Northwest weekends are usually spent on the bike (at least within my circle of friends). This shot was taken at last years USGP (U.S. Gran Prix) of Cyclocross’ The Portland Cup. Portland Oregon is home to some of the top athletes in the sport and, as quoted from the USGP’s website… “epic epic conditions”. Cyclocross is a very brutal sport and I highly recommend taking in a race if you get the chance. It is a one of a kind sport.
